Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Maverick ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Maverick is operated by Maverick Finance ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms govern your use of the Maverick web application and related services.
Description of Service
Maverick is a personal finance budgeting and tracking tool. The Service allows you to create budgets, track spending, categorize transactions, and manage your personal finances.
Maverick is not a financial advisor. The Service does not provide financial, tax, investment, or legal advice. Any information presented within the Service is for informational purposes only and should not be construed as professional advice.
Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your password
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
- Maintain only one account per person
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
Acceptable Use
Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. Violations of the Acceptable Use Policy may result in suspension or termination of your account.
Subscription and Billing
Maverick offers the following plans:
- Free — Core budgeting features at no cost
- Pro — $4.99 per month or $49 per year, with a 14-day free trial
Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the Free plan.

Intellectual Property
Maverick Finance owns all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including its design, code, trademarks, and documentation. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.
You own your data. All financial data, budgets, and content you enter into the Service remains your property. We claim no ownership over your data.
User Data
We collect and process your data as described in our Privacy Policy. You may export your data at any time in JSON or CSV format. Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed after a 30-day grace period.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Maverick is not a substitute for professional financial advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided through the Service. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAVERICK FINANCE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination, except in cases of severe violations.
You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your data will be retained for 30 days (in case you change your mind), after which it is permanently and irreversibly deleted.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in accordance with applicable United States federal and state law.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email or a prominent notice within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
